A very rare die marriage from one of just two reverse dies with only four berries in the branch. The other is displayed at HBCC-3053. When Walter Breen prepared his 1966 monograph, he was only aware of two or three examples including the Edgar Adams plate coin illustrated in the November, 1934, issue of The Coin Collector’s Journal and another in the Mayflower Coin Auctions sale of the Gaylord Collection. Harry Bass acquired three different examples of this die variety!
