The majority of known patterns of this design are either copper or gold-plated copper. Just one set is known in gold, with all six coins carrying the identical pedigree back to William H. Woodin. Just two sets are known in aluminum. Among copper issues, probably about seven or eight examples are known of the smaller denominations, with perhaps a dozen each of the two largest denominations.
